MARKET TREND

Small specialist market with a clear GIS/geospatial opportunity

Persistent signals: Teaching and geography-specific roles. Emerging signals: GIS, geospatial mapping, land information, environmental and infrastructure applications. Limited signals: Pure Geography titles are limited; the degree becomes more versatile when paired with GIS/geospatial capability.

WORKFORCE CONTEXT

Vacancy evidence is not a workforce census

Careerlator does not infer the number of employed graduates from job-board listings. The current public snapshot is used as a market signal only.

Before you choose Geography

Do not make the decision from one salary figure or one job-board count. Look at the work, the market evidence, the training, the professional requirements, where the jobs are and what you are willing to build during university.
